Project: Ghost-Net

Spectral activity is often associated with electromagnetic fields and / or temperature cold-spots. However, attempting to monitor or track phenomena by this method is difficult at best. Even with high quality and performance  gaussmeters and thermometers, it is a hard task. Ghostly phenomena seldom stays stationary and can appear or disappear quickly. Thus Grimstone Inc. needed to develop a better mouse-trap, or rather ghost-trap.

Introducing Project: Ghost-Net

Ghost-Net is a wireless data acquisition system that is connected to one of our portable laptops. It consists of a series of wireless transmitting units. Each unit contains a digital thermometer and electromagnetic field detector. These units can be placed in a grid system in an area of spectral activity. Data is collected in real-time and can be watched via the laptop. Thus, cold spots or changes in magnetic field can be readily spotted and if the spectral activity moves, changes direction, or increases in intensity, it can be recorded and plotted.

Systems like these cost several thousand dollars. A single transmitting unit with sensors is about $200 a piece. We are currently receiving several quotes. However, this project is going to be long-term because we do not charge fees for our investigations and the budget for this is 'out of pocket' money. If you would like to donate to the Ghost-Net fund, please feel free to email us for directions how. Thank you. We appreciate the support.
